Facilities - Estimators

We are recruiting Estimators for our client across sites in Berkshire, to form part of the projects team in meeting budget targets and company objectives.

Role:

* Manage the bid and resource co-ordination process involving both direct and indirect staff management

* Propose innovative solutions to deliver client requirements

* To have industry knowledge to keep abreast of competitor's methodologies

* Provide information and prepare and compilation of proposal submissions including solution and option appraisal of new methods of project delivery to identify valid and viable commercial delivery options

* Proactive approach to the continuous improvement in communications, management procedures and systems to maximise profitability and improve operational efficiencies

* Management of the implementation of 'best practice' arising from consultation and liaison with external bodies and other EFS divisions

* Management of the implementation of common practice across the account to ensure meaningful commercial and operational datums are established.

* Obtaining specialist subcontractor costs

* Read and understand the client requests / documentation

* Formulate bid based on BDM brief where required

* Labour loading of asset information

* Attend site visits as required across the account as part of the bid process

* Assist in the production of correspondence and documentation

* Update Pipeline Reporting System and to contribute, to the generation of BDM information reports

* Attend Divisional Bid Meetings as required

* Progressing submitted tenders

* Assist in formulation of tender returns

* Establishing agreed benchmarks for performance

* Measurement of performance versus contracted requirements

* Identification of a broad range of cost saving initiatives in line with contractual obligations

* Interactions with client organisations as required, providing meaningful reports and proactive data and information

Qualifications and Experience:

* Educated to HNC/HND Standard (or equivalent)

* Extensive experience within the FM Industry

* Excellent management experience

* Good IT skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
