Architectural Technologist

My client is the in-house architectural department of the Sherrygreen Group and a sister company of Mullaley and Sherrygreen Homes. The group's primary activities are:

• New Residential Development
• New Residential Construction
• New Social and Education projects
• Estate and Area Regeneration
• Refurbishment and Planned Maintenance

My client is looking for Architectural Technologists to join their team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Selecting the best materials and processes for the project
• Carrying out feasibility and risk assessments
• Analysing architectural plans and highlighting any possible risks or problems
• Preparing documents to assist with obtaining planning permission and similar approvals

Requirements:

• HNC or HND in construction, architectural technology or building studies, or a foundation degree in architectural technology
• Leadership skills and a willingness to take on responsibility
• Good communication skills - Interaction with other professionals, authorities and clients occurs frequently
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• An eye for detail and design, and the ability to visualise objects in three dimensions (3D)
