We are currently recruiting for a Breast Care Nurse Specialist - Oncology to join a private medical facility based in London.

Job Summary:

The Breast Care Nurse will work in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to breast patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with current evidence. They will closely work with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services such as diagnostic, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

They will also provide overall clinical leadership for the breast care service for The London Clinic patients, including the provision of psychological support, information and advice to patients diagnosed with breast cancer.

  • Registered Nurse
  • Intensive Care Course
  • Intermediate Life Support Certificate
  • Mentorship Course
  • Management / leadership qualification
  • Physical Assessment Course
  • Advanced Life Support
  • Paediatric Basic Life Support


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Staff Nurse in Intensive Care settings
  • Ongoing experience of supervising and mentoring new starters/ students
  • Experience in policy development and implementation
  • Experience in conducting clinical audits


  • Sound theoretical knowledge base for acute nursing, including haemodynamic monitoring & respiratory support, including high flow oxygen therapy (Optiflow)
  • Comprehensive knowledge on the Management of patient's with PCA and Epidural.
  • Evidence of recent professional development
  • Implementation and evaluation of clinical audit initiatives
  • Demonstrate high standards of clinical practice in acute nursing
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Strategy and objectives setting
  • Proven ability to balance competing demands on time and prioritise workload
  • Positive role model with a robust approach to problem solving
  • Familiar with healthcare IT systems and proficient user of Microsoft Office software's (Word, ExcEL and PowerPoint)
  • Dedicated with passion for delivering exceptional care with high levels of professionalism and enthusiasm
