Our client is currently recruiting for a Clients and Marketing Assistant to work in their London office on a contract basis.

Job Summary:

You will support the marketing team by gathering information from clients and multiple market intelligence sources as required to aid in the development of the marketing strategy and will be responsible for collating information and documentation for bids/proposals.

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to assist with development and delivery of integrated marketing communications campaigns and digital marketing activities to deliver the desired client experience, as well as internal communication activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Business Development Leaders, Operations and Regional Teams reporting into both the Clients and Marketing Manager
  • Support the gathering of information based on research and, where required, gather information needed to inform marketing plans
  • Analyse client and market intelligence from multiple sources
  • Support information-gathering as part of the strategy process
  • Contribute information to marketing activities and campaign plans
  • Be aware of the marketing budget and understand the need to manage spend
  • Support and, where required, assist with the implementation of internal communication plans to improve collaboration, employee engagement and build strong client relationships
  • Understand the need to work collaboratively with others to meet client needs
  • Understand the need for change and assists the implementation of change
  • Understand the role of brand guidelines in protecting the brand
  • Contribute to the development of marketing communications activities
  • Assist in the delivery of internal and external marketing communications activities using multi-channel tools (e.g. events, thought leadership, digital, marketing collateral, media relations etc.)
  • Understand the importance of a digital strategy
  • Assist with the integration of digital and multi-channel tools
  • Assist with the implementation of digital marketing activities
  • Assist the development and delivery of marketing activities that contribute to the desired client experience
  • Understand the importance of measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of all marketing activities and plans
  • Assist with the collection of information that contributes to the review of marketing activities
  • Assist with the preparation of content for bids and proposals
  • Gather information for bids and proposals and support document creation

Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent. Formal marketing training or qualification (e.g. CIM) is desirable
  • At least 2 years of experience, working in a similar role and position, in a professional services environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work as a positive, energised and adaptable team member
  • Previous role within a global organisation would be preferable but not essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise effectively
  • An understanding of the construction industry and Commercial and Buildings sector would be beneficial but not essential
