They are currently recruiting for a CNS - Diabetes & Endocrinology to come and join their team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • As a senior nurse you are expected to deliver other "nursing" initiatives and help with the formation of the nursing strategy
  • At all times provide a caring compassionate service and treat everyone with respect and dignity
  • Have a special focus on our international community as many of these patients have Diabetes
  • Comply with all BCH policies
  • Carry out duties and responsibilities in compliance with the Health and Safety Policies
  • Maintain a high standard of accountability
  • Act as a lead for Point of Care Testing (POCT) within BCH and link with TDL POCT Project manager, ensure Link Training for POCT is in line with TDL requirements

Skills and Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse on Patr 1 of NMC Register
  • Proven experience in the specialism
  • Proven experience caring for patients with Endocrine conditions
  • Have completed a course in relation to the speciality
  • Knowledge of current HPSS and awareness of the impact changes have on the ward and hospital environment
