We are recruiting for an IT DB developer (for IT Cash)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day support to the Applications / Systems / platforms of the area.
    • Will carry out daily support with respect to all applications of the area
    • Wide experience in management methodology for tickets, incidents, bugs, resolution of doubts and queries (reception of the incidence, documentation, resolution and processing with other departments)
    • Wide experience in carrying out the required analysis to be sent to developers making intermediary between them and the internal customer.
    • Guidance to incident resolution / Cases.
  • Day to day work with SQL Server and Oracle regarding development of new functionality, new jobs, new queries.
    • Will take the requirements of the processes and or functionalities to develop/improve/stabilize. Leading or collaborating in the project, it will elaborate the calendar of interviews, agendas of contents, and carries out the interviews and timely agreement.
    • Will analyze and negotiate the agreement of interface between our database and any other system (WS, another database, intermediate queues)
    • Will carry out the functional analysis of the system of the new developments in the database. Responsible to describe the functions of the system, design (the entity model, data flow, logical files and tables etc.), interfaces and/or migration of required data
    • Will estimate the time and resources needed for the implementation of specified developments.
    • Implementation of the technical design with the defined technical methodology.
    • Once the optimal solution has been decided, will develop in T-SQL or PL-SQL the SP, tables, processes, triggers, indexes, jobs, transactions, integrations... necessary to achieve the agreed result with our clients.
    • Completion of the required documentation
    • Management of the projects through tools of control of projects (Ms project.)
    • Experience in the creation of documentation type VIR and DTS (project).
  • Design, preparation and participation in the functional test: will actively collaborate with the user in the test that is made of the developed modules, taking note of the obtained results and resolving the found differences.
  • Preparation of the documentation and transfer of the application to the Department of exploitation/use. Will develop the user documentation, exploitation/use, VIR, KickOf, accord meeting, documents of change management, Operating Documents, Documents of Architecture, Documents of User Manual etc. Will be responsible for updating the system documentation. Will be responsible for carrying out the necessary training for the daily operation of the system and perform the maintenance and support of the application.
  • Will have relation with suppliers/dealers: will collaborate in the design and development carried out by external suppliers/dealers and will validate the proposals made by the suppliers/dealers, ensuring that they comply with the requirements set by the business and by the area of DTI.
  • Will conduct users support and administration of systems expert, applications and platforms that are central to the business of LVGE.
  • Experience in reporting. Recommended Reporting Services, Power BI.
  • Will conduct night guards/watch rotating basis in combined with the rest of the team.

Technical knowledge:

  • Essential requirement: strong knowledge and expertise in development SQL Server and Oracle (T-SQL, PL-SQL, Store Procedures, understand and develop Complex Queries, Tuning, Management Studio, the profiler, transactions) and in management (Jobs, users, permissions in db, Sync database, Toad, SLQ Oracle Developer).
  • Recommended Development .NET or Java (Visual Studio Team Foundation) and extensive experience with WS (restful) and SOA
  • Windows Server operating systems, Linux (work with basic commands).
  • Recommended knowledge in agile, SCRUM, Jira.
  • Office automation (MS office) at the very high level (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • Essential: very high-level German (native levels), Very High level of English.
  • The center of work will be Ratingen (30 mins to Dusselforf by train).
  • Experience working in teams of international and multicultural in different time zones.
  • Experience integrating systems of different technologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar posts
