Our client is located in the popular Central London area. This facility is a prestigious London private hospital, with a very unique and outstanding reputation. This facility consists of 250 beds, and covers a broad range of acute specialties including: Surgical, Medical, Oncology and Critical Care units. Our client is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Hand Therapist to join their team of staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing a mixed hand and wrist condition caseload of patients - carrying out assessments
  • Supporting post op patients and those that have work related upperlimb disorder
  • Fabrication of thermoplastic orthotic devices and dynamic mobilising & neoprene splints
  • Represent the hand therapy service and/or individual patients at the multi-disciplinary team meetings, ward rounds and case conferences
  • Support the Specialist Hand Therapist with the development of the service

All suitable applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • A HCPC registered professional
  • BAHT qualified
  • Extensive experience of working in hand therapy ideally with experience of handling patients with work related upperlimb disorder
  • Experience within a hospital environment on a rotational basis, however we will consider some private practice experience. You will have ideally also had experience of ergonomic assessment.

Please note, this is a part time role (19 hours per week).
