    Our client is a specialist contractor who are a market leader in the design and build of offsite hybrid engineered structures. Their approach combines structural precast concrete, in-situ concrete and steelwork to deliver modern structures, including the buildings external facades as required. They operate within many construction sectors including, commercial, residential, industrial, custodial, healthcare, schools and infrastructure.

    They now have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

    This position will be a site based role operating from numerous sites, therefore the willingness to travel and work away is a requirement for this role.

    Initially this role would be more London based, covering two projects in Wembley and Tottenham Court Road, with potential for nationwide projects

    The H&S Officer will play a key role in driving safe working practice by helping set and maintain high standards of H&S.

    This is a full-time permanent position.

    Site Hours: Monday – Friday, 0730 – 1730.

    Salary: Approximately £40K per annum + benefits (depending upon experience)

    Criteria:

    • Recognised H&S experience in construction
    • NEBOSH
    • IOSH (to a high level)
    • TWS/TWC
    • Construction H&S quality experience
    • NVQ Diploma Level 5 – Occupational H&S
    • SMSTS
    • First Aid
    • Experience working within or interest in working within ISO 9001 / ISO 140001
    • Strong communication, IT and organisational skills
    • CSCS Card
    • Drivers license
    • Working references – essential
    • Availability to attend an interview
