    Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

    We are recruiting for a Senior Cloud DevOps engineer who is looking to take their understanding to the next level. Our client is creating a new team to be part of and ongoing project that changes the future of their clients offering in the design world.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • You will be required to work across multiple internal divisions, to design and build security, reliability, and scalability into the development life-cycle.
    • Analyse, design, implement and validate strategies for continuous integration, build, test and deployment for cloud-based infrastructure.
    • Design and implement automated, dynamic environments to support the needs of development teams
    • Be part of a scrum team with other Engineer colleagues to develop dynamically controlled infrastructures
    • Contribute to the wider organisation to understand and support our clients internal cloud infrastructure development needs
    • Performance comparison testing of the latest cloud servers with our software
    • Create and maintain dashboards for the various KPIs.

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s or higher degree in SW/HW Engineering, Technology or a relevant degree
    • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud and Application Security.
    • Experience implementing and administering dependency management and static code analysis platforms like Nexus and SonarQube
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Architectures, API and CLIs of AWS and Azure or Google IPaaS.
    • Some experience of an application development programming language desirable. Eg. Golang, Python, Java
    • Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code and associated scripting technologies
    • Should have knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, etc.
    • Should have experience in continuous delivery and continuous integration of CI/CD pipelines.
