CP Elevate programme

At Cavendish, we believe work should be something you genuinely enjoy. After all, we spend a significant portion of our lives either at work or thinking about it.

Creating a positive, engaging, and supportive environment isn’t just nice to have, it’s essential to success. When people feel good about coming to work, it fuels creativity, collaboration, and a sense of purpose. That’s why we put people at the heart of everything we do, building a culture where respect, growth, and enjoyment go hand in hand.

Each quarter we spotlight one of our core values and curate a programme to inspire personal and professional growth. These programmes are made up of interactive workshops, one to one mentoring sessions, challenges and cross-team meetups. Quarter 1 had a focus on ambition, to inspire this in our team we hosted 3 skills workshops.

Motivation mindset – Sam Adams

Sam discussed what motivation is, how it helps us and the 3 elements which make it powerful. He spotlighted team members and public figures who have shown great motivation. He then spoke about where motivation comes from and different types there can be and psychological techniques which can help build a motivation mindset.

This workshop was great, and really showed the team ways they can improve their motivation in and out of the workplace.

Setting ambitious goals – Winnie Solon

Winnie discussed how setting ambitious goals can be challenging as there needs to be a strong desire to achieve them. She made a lot of motivational comments to boost the teams confidence and remind everyone that they are capable of whatever they wish to accomplish. She discussed different types of goals, the process of setting them, different methods and analogies which make it easier to visualise. Afterwards she ended the session with a meditation/visualisation session for the team.

Overall the workshop boosted motivation within the team, and gave everyone an opportunity to recentre and align with their personal and professional goals.

Using AI to leverage recruitment strategy – Anastasios Visvikis

Anastasios discussed examples of AI, ways we can use it within recruitment and reasons why AI couldn’t replace the human approach. He also spoke about ways AI can benefit in leadership, and how to maintain balance in how you use the technology.

Overall this workshop was really insightful in ways of using AI, especially in making sure that a human touch is always maintained.

As our workshops continue we hope to see our team implementing these skills in their day to day lives and approaches to work. Our aim is to inspire and motivate our team to strive for success in everything they do.
