    Senior Software Engineer

    Hiring: Senior Software Engineer – Fully Remote (UK, DE, RO, ES)

    I’m hiring for a remote-first scaleup building collaborative tools for scientists (think Google Docs for research). Their platform has 21M+ users and deploys multiple times daily.

    They’re now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their product-focused team. If you enjoy building clean, production-ready code in JavaScript/TypeScript and are excited about open-source, DevOps, and continuous delivery, read on.

    Tech Stack:
    * Backend: Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Redis
    * Frontend: React + TypeScript
    * Infrastructure: Google Cloud (GKE), Docker, Prometheus
    * Practices: CI/CD, daily deployments, DevOps, GitHub PRs, TDD, retrospectives

    What You’ll Do:
    * Collaborate with product managers and UX researchers to build the right things, the right way
    * Write high-quality frontend and backend code (React + Node)
    * Own your code from idea to production (DevOps mindset)
    * Participate in code reviews

    What They’re Looking For:
    * 5+ years of experience building modern web apps (JavaScript, Node, React)
    * Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, Git workflows
    * Experience working remotely, ideally in distributed teams
    * Good written & spoken English
    Bonus (not required): MongoDB, Docker, Google Cloud, Redis, Pub/Sub systems

    Remote & Locations:
    You must be based in one of:
    UK | Germany | Spain | Romania
