    Our client is a global tech company looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to join their team remotely from Germany.

    This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and engineering leadership. You will design and build scalable, high-performance services, lead critical technical initiatives, and ensure systems meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and scalability while aligning closely with business objectives.

    Skills & Requirements:

    * 15+ years of experience in software development and system architecture.
    * Strong expertise in backend services, APIs, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred).
    * Experience designing and operating scalable microservices architectures.
    * Solid understanding of frontend frameworks and complex system integrations.
    * Strong knowledge of secure development practices, databases, and application performance.
    * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.

    Role & Responsibilities:

    * Design and build scalable services – Architect and develop high-performance microservices and APIs used across the organisation.
    * Ensure operational excellence – Drive security, reliability, and performance best practices across applications.
    * Lead through collaboration – Work closely with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to deliver aligned technical solutions.
    * Optimise systems at scale – Proactively monitor and improve system performance and stability.
    * Mentor and elevate engineers – Support senior developers through mentorship, high-quality code reviews, and technical guidance.
