Our client is a global tech company looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing Emerging Tech team on a 12 Month remote Contract
Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and large-scale Neural Networks
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI (RAG, vector databases, LangChain, LlamaIndex, agentic frameworks)
- Advanced Python skills with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered)
- Understanding of the full ML lifecycle, including MLOps/DataOps practices
- Experience with probabilistic modelling (e.g., Bayesian networks, graphical models)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and train transformer-based models for text and image applications
- Design and manage the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle (data preparation, modelling, deployment, monitoring)
- Build rapid prototypes, demos, and proof-of-concepts using emerging technologies
- Support the development of AI assets (e.g., plugins) aligned with broader AI strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions
- Contribute to ongoing AI research and innovation initiatives
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and emerging technologies
