One standout event was our virtual marathon walk with Cavendish Homecare in support of Cruse Bereavement Support. Walking not only benefits physical health but also provides a space for reflection and connection with others, making it a fitting activity for a cause as meaningful as bereavement support.
Additionally, we had the privilege of hosting a meditation session with the esteemed Nick Stolerman. In a world filled with constant stimuli, taking time to quiet the mind and focus inward can work wonders for reducing stress and enhancing mental clarity.
Of course, it wouldn’t be April without our annual golf day at Hadley Wood Golf Club. This event not only allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors and hone our golfing skills but also provided an opportunity to strengthen bonds with our valued clients in a relaxed setting.
One of the highlights of the month was Patrick Liston’s incredible achievement in completing the Boston Marathon, marking the culmination of his journey as part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors. Patrick’s dedication and perseverance serve as an inspiration to us all, reminding us of the power of setting ambitious goals and working tirelessly to achieve them.
And let’s not forget our Run Club champions, Evgenia Zhovnaruk and Amy Harris, whose commitment to regular running not only demonstrates physical fitness but also embodies the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that defines our Cavendish community.
