It is important to recognise that the construction industry can be demanding, both physically and mentally. At Cavendish Professionals and Base Build, we both understand the power of providing a service that prioritises mental well-being to all our operatives on-site.
Who are Base Build?
Base Build is a principle contractor who offers a full construction service across a variety of contract procurement methods. They provide traditional, design & build, and management forms of contracting. As a supplier to Base Build, both organisations understand the importance of mental health and based on the successful CP Football Tournament earlier in the year, and the engagement and success of the Base Build team it was decided to put together regular football matches against both organisations. Providing a space for fun and enjoyment away from the construction site. A space where the teams could have a safe space to talk when they are going through difficult times.
The first of these football competitions took place in September and the evening was a great success. This has led to a second event having already taken place. We look forward to seeing more of these matches taking place, reaching more operatives throughout the construction industry.
