Last week, we had another Cavendish Professionals industry golf day at Foxhills Golf Club in Surrey. As usual, it was a great success, with keen golfers from numerous leading construction companies taking part.
We welcomed 60 people from companies across the industry for a great day in the sunny countryside. All the players gave it their best shot (literally), with numerous trophies up for grabs, including winning team, winning golfer, nearest pin, and some runner up prizes, including a wooden spoon trophy – an award to playfully recognise perseverance, participation, and the spirit of competition.
We had a raffle with some fantastic prizes ranging from golf experiences to football tickets. We sold £1,500 worth of tickets, all of which will be going to Campaign Against Living Miserably, our annual charity at Cavendish Professionals.
It was great to get so many prominent companies from the construction industry in one place to enjoy the day! Thank you so much to Foxhills for your great hospitality and for hosting us at your wonderful venue.
