Event recap – Tech Talk: The DEIB Stack – Coding Inclusion Into Your Culture

Last week, our tech team had the pleasure of flying to Berlin, Germany, to host our first-ever DEIB focused Tech Talk, moderated by Francesca Pollard, Principal Consultant & DEIB Community Founder & Advisor and kindly hosted by eyeo, alongside our fantastic panel of mentors:

The session covered three critical conversation topics across Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) in the tech industry, which were:

• Building Inclusive Teams: Practical strategies to ensure every team member feels seen, heard, and empowered, across cultural, gender, and neurodiverse dimensions.
• Designing for Inclusion: How to design products, engineering workflows, and team practices that naturally support equity and belonging.
• The Future of Talent and AI: Approaches to hiring, development, and leveraging AI thoughtfully, so that diverse talent pipelines can thrive for the long term.

Following the panel discussion, our audience-led Q&A session provided our attendees with the opportunity to ask our experienced & knowledgeable panellists questions shaping the future of their industries.
