We returned to Kraków for our 6th Tech Talk: The Live Mentoring Sessions!
At our earlier sessions, the questions from the audience were often centred around career growth and leadership: How do I give constructive feedback? What skills matter most as I progress in my career? This time, the conversation had clearly shifted. AI wasn’t just another topic on the agenda, it was the lens through which everyone was thinking about the future of tech.
The best part of the evening wasn’t just the panel itself, but the conversations that carried on afterwards, seeing so many people stay behind to share perspectives and connect with others in the local tech community is exactly what Tech Talk is all about.
A huge thank you to our panel of mentors for sharing their perspectives:
- Grzegorz (Greg) Jaworek: Founder and Mentor at Career Path
- Katarzyna Jolanta Osuch-Bukowska: Director of Engineering at FedEx
- Kris Kras: Mentor at Leaders Island
- Kacper Moskała: Technical Program Manager at StoneX
- Michał Porzożyński: VP of Software Engineering at BlackLine
- Michał Pawłowski: Head of Software Development at Tesco
- Andrei Sheleh: Director of Engineering at Splunk
This session covered a series of themes, ranging from what skills are the most important in the age of AI, to what hiring processes look like now as technology automates certain tasks, and concerns surrounding AI governance and compliance.
Be on the lookout for further events, coming soon to Kraków!
