At Cavendish Professionals our operatives represent our values and standard on site every day, embodying our commitment to quality and success. By giving back to our operatives, we acknowledge their hard work and dedication as a operative team which essentially brings success to all our projects.

When our team feels appreciated they become more engaged, productive and proud to represent us which strengths the future of our relationships with our operatives and our clients.

CP Hub

The introduction of the CP Hub allows our construction operatives to enhance their working experiences. This portal is home to a number of beneficial resources, which includes support and information that our operatives may require during their time working at Cavendish Professionals. Having all our information in one place allows easy access to timesheets, training, internal competitions, and much more.

Our guiding principles include induction & support which is a positive onboarding approach through the dedicated labour manager and the compliance department.

Wellbeing is also a big part of what we foster which includes links to our trusted partners Lighthouse Wellbeing Academy and the Lighthouse Support  Hub   which are direct contacts for our operatives to turn to for mental, physical and financial health.

The CP Hub also provides health and safety information which can help our operatives without PPE which we provide for them or those that require training to understand the importance of health and safety.

Learning and Development is extremely important to us so we provide courses, mentoring and development for our operatives to use when they please.

At Cavendish Professionals, we will continue to prioritise our operative’s experiences through the CP hub, ensuring we meet their needs and expectations.

Sporting Events and Competitions

We have a number of giveaways available regularly for our operatives to enter. Over the past year, we have been able to giveaway premier league tickets, Queen Tennis Championship tickets, cricket matches at the Oval, and we continue to provide these opportunities to our operatives wherever possible.

Site Visits

Our Contracts Managers and consultants regularly visit sites to strengthen connections with our operatives. These visits provide an opportunity for us to connect directly with our operatives in construction giving us all a first-hand look at the hard work and dedication they are putting in as they represent Cavendish Professionals. As part of our Operative Engagement campaign we have been highlighting some of these visits which you can see below.

For operatives, it’s a chance to share their experiences, offer feedback, and feel more engaged with our team. These site visits allow us to better understand the day-to-day challenges and successes of our teams, offering open communication and ensuring operatives feel appreciated. By bringing our team together on-site, we’re building a culture where every operative’s role is valued, and everyone’s contributions are recognised.

At Cavendish Professionals, our commitment to operative engagement is ongoing. The steps we are taking towards operative engagement have been a necessity towards a more positive workforce.  As we move forward, we look forward to further developing and continuing our operative engagement initiatives.
