Chief Financial Officer

We are recruiting for an experienced Chief Financial Offer to work for a large retail organisation. The client is looking for a commercial minded CFO that works strategically and will outline a future growth plan. Ultimately you will come into the organisation and be able to immediately make an impact.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Driving the company’s financial planning strategy
  • Oversee the budgeting processes
  • Provide a financial steer to the executive team
  • Work collaboratively with key senior stakeholders
  • Undertake risk management and organise the company’s liabilities and investments
  • Management of the existing finance team
  • Build relationships with external advisors, banks and corporate finance houses
  • Identify and report on financial trends to support the business plan

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a CFO
  • Fully qualified in recognised accounting field (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and has operated at a in senior accounting role
  • Experience of leading budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience of managing third party complying with regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of financial systems
  • Strong written and communication skills
