    Principal Electrical Engineer

    Our client is a Mechanical & Electrical Design Consultancy who work on a diverse range of exciting projects including commercial developments, high-end residential buildings, hotels, healthcare facilities, and data centres.

    Due to continued growth they are now looking to hire a Principal Electrical Engineer on a full time basis for projects in London.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage projects through all stages, coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Lead and oversee electrical design, engineering, documentation, and administration.
    • Ensure compliance with project constraints for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in electrical design engineering.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of electrical systems from both design and construction perspectives.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good knowledge of current British electrical standards.
    • Familiarity with key engineering software packages such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech, and Navisworks is desirable but not essential.
