    PTS Sentinel Steel fixers

    At Cavendish Professionals, we are recruiting for PTS Sentinel Steel Fixers to join our well-established clients on a new project. Shifts will include working days, nights, and weekends.

    Duration: 12 – 18 months

    Skills and Requirements:

    • CSCS, CPCS or NPORS
    • PTS (Personal Track Safety)
    • In date NWR Medical
    • NWR Drug and Alcohol test with a negative result within the past 3 months, or be willing to have one.
    • Manual handling Preferred
    • Must have 2 checkable references
    • Proof of right to work in UK
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

    Role and Responsibilities:

    Projects are varied, and duties could include general groundworks, laying foundations, trough laying, walkway construction and building retaining walls. All roles are hands-on and involve working outside in all weather conditions.

    • Working within the preparation and manufacturing of steel products.
    • Fully engage in and promote Safety First Culture.
    • Operative Gantry crane
    • Technical Drawings to work off.
    • Operating rebar cut and bend machine.
    • Make up reinforcement cages.
    • Loading Trucks
    • Steel unloading/coils loading
    • Driving forklifts Only if hold a valid licence.
