    Our client is a growing, multi-cloud platform organization looking for a Senior Platform Automation & Observability Engineer in BUDAPEST, HUNGARY to lead the development and operational support of their stakeholder and organizational dashboard-as-a-service platform.

    Skills and Requirements:

    • 8-12+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, automation engineering, or observability/data engineering, with a proven track record delivering complex, automation-driven solutions at enterprise scale.
    • Strong hands-on experience with cloud workloads in at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud experience preferred.
    • Proficiency in Python (preferred), Go, or similar scripting/automation languages, including experience building AI agents and chatbots using tools like Claude Code, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
    • Deep familiarity with telemetry, observability, and logging pipelines, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, and data integration or API-driven automation.
    • A self-starting, data-driven problem solver, comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex systems, with experience in Agile / continuous improvement environments.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Build and scale dashboards – Design, build, and maintain stakeholder and executive-facing dashboards with integrations across multiple tools and cloud environments.
    • Automate and integrate – Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines, and integrate enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira into centralized reporting systems.
    • Develop AI-powered tooling – Build AI-powered chatbots and agents to handle information requests and reduce manual reporting burden.
    • Own observability – Instrument and maintain telemetry pipelines, define operational dashboards for platform health and trending, and drive service improvements through metrics and data analysis.
    • Lead end-to-end delivery – Independently own and deliver complex workstreams, partner across engineering, cloud platform, and line-of-business teams, and contribute to strategic platform improvements, not just task execution.
