    Staff Engineer (Remote)

    We’re hiring: Staff Engineer

    We’re supporting one of Europe’s most recognized e-commerce brands in finding a permanent Staff Engineer to help modernize and scale their software platforms.

    Location: Remote from Romania (with a site in Bucharest for monthly visits)
    Travel: Occasional visits to Düsseldorf
    Contract: Permanent, not open to contractors
    Interview Process: 3 stages – HR, technical deep-dive, cultural fit (no take-home tasks)

    Technical Environment:

    • Stack: Java, React.js, AWS, MuleSoft (tech agnostic at this level)
    • Dev Culture: Clean operational code, robust code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring
    • Team: Highly experienced engineers, collaborative knowledge-sharing culture
    • Focus: Building stable, maintainable systems that support long-term business value
    • Communication: Clear, consistent collaboration across teams is essential

    Ideal Profile:

    • 10+ years’ experience as a senior/staff-level engineer
