60 Seconds with... Leah Smith

We'd like you to meet Leah Smith, who has recently joined the Cavendish Professionals team as a Senior Marketing Executive.

We sat with her for 60 seconds and this is what we found out:

My alarm goes off… 5:30 am, then 6:30 am and finally 6:45 am. Very odd I know, I like to wake up and know I have at least a solid hour extra in bed before I need to get up!

I’m responsible for… All things marketing! This includes content creation, production and management of external and internal events, liaising with suppliers and external agencies, email marketing, collateral and basically all the “fun” stuff!

I got my job… Through LinkedIn.

My typical day… Always starts with a bowl of granola and a triple shot coffee! I then go through my project ‘to-do’ list in order of priority and correspond to emails from the previous evening. Then aside from the daily and weekly reports, no two days are the same, so for the rest of the day, you’ll find me attacking the rest of my to-do list alongside another triple shot coffee to hand nearby.

My top 3 hobbies… Eating out (I have a list of 100+ places to try across London..), shopping in ZARA (where you will find me most evenings and weekends), and finally, the usual ‘socialising with friends’. By this, I mean holidays, festivals, bottomless brunches and everything in between!

My favourite food... Indian definitely. But I’m that person that goes for a Chicken Korma and Keema Naan whilst out for an Indian… Don’t judge!

My favourite movie genre… Action, preferably war films! (Troy is my fave, I can recite practically 99% of the script!)

My favourite travel destination… Ibiza….heaven on earth. I would like to retire there someday.

The best part of my job… The people! Working alongside such a lovely bunch of people makes the working day so much easier, it’s a great working environment to surround yourself in.

After work… You will find me either unwinding with a large glass of Gin and Tonic, at the gym or enjoying 10 minutes in Barbados on the local sunbed!
