    We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller with a strong background in Kimball dimensional modeling methodology to support the design and development of scalable, analytics-ready data architectures.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of star schema and snowflake schema design principles, fact and dimension table modeling, slowly changing dimensions (SCDs), and best practices for building data warehouses optimized for reporting and analytics.

    This role requires advanced SQL proficiency, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries, perform data profiling, and troubleshoot data quality issues across large datasets.

    Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with data engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-structured logical and physical data models.

    A strong background in healthcare data is required, with specific hands-on experience working with Encounters data (e.g., medical claims, member encounters, provider interactions, or related healthcare transactional data). Familiarity with healthcare data standards, claims processing workflows, and payer/provider data structures is highly valued.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and maintain dimensional data models using Kimball methodology (star schema, snowflake schema)
    • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
    • Model healthcare Encounters data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business and regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with data engineering teams to implement data models within the data warehouse/lakehouse environment
    • Perform data quality checks, gap analysis, and troubleshooting across source and target systems
    • Document data models, data dictionaries, and mapping specifications
    • Partner with BI and analytics teams to ensure models support downstream reporting needs

    Required Qualifications:

    • Strong hands-on experience with Kimball dimensional modeling techniques
    • Advanced SQL skills (query writing, performance tuning, debugging)
    • Healthcare industry experience, with specific knowledge of Encounters data
    • Experience working with claims, member, or provider data in a healthcare payer or provider setting
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams
