We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Adrian Duffy to Manager in the Technical division

Meet Adrian… 

He is a specialist in the field of talent acquisition, with many years’ experience in identifying professionals within a range of construction and engineering sectors to work on highly prestigious projects in the UK, Europe & Middle East.

Back in 2011, Adrian established the Technical division and along with his team, worked very hard to develop the client and candidate base that we have today.

We are extremely happy and proud to announce that Adrian has been promoted to Manager for our Technical division at Cavendish. He has been an absolute asset to the company ever since he’s joined and we’d like to thank him for all his professionalism and dedication in doing so.

Adrian also took the time to answer a few questions for us:

How do you feel right now?

Right now? I feel a little sore from the gym yesterday but happy to have been given the opportunity to lead this growing division I helped create. 

How has your role changed?

Well I will not be recruiting candidates anymore :( but I’m sure I will try and get involved at every opportunity I can get. It’s hard to leave the recruiting side of my previous role behind. I have been a recruiter for a long time and it’s hard to just switch it off. I see myself getting involved in every hire our consultants make, sticking my oar in.  Within my new remit, I’m thinking a lot bigger, outside of ‘my desk’ and focusing on the growth of the department  as a whole. I will be looking to grow our client base, explore new sectors and recruiting experienced and graduate consultants to help us service all these new clients we will be working with.

What is it like working for Cavendish Professionals?

I think I’m their biggest fan. Cavendish is a great company with a view of recruitment that is different and quite unique to other recruitment companies I have worked for. They have helped me to develop my skill set and rewarded me for my success. Not much more I can ask for really. We have a strong, loyal team that make working life a lot easier and it’s a fun environment with a lot of good old fashioned banter. 

What is the best part of your job?

I think we have identified the perfect recruiting style as a business and bringing new consultants to the team, training them and getting to see them deliver with the Cavendish mentality is very rewarding in itself. Being the boss is also nice.
