Our client is a high-growth tech company looking for a Staff Product Engineer to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity based in London to help build and scale a product in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, working closely with users and delivering real impact.
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong experience in product-focused engineering environments
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Experience working across the full stack delivering end-to-end features
- Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (e.g. Tailwind or similar)
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong understanding of performance, scalability, and reliability best practices
- Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Interest or exposure to AI/ML is a plus
Role and Responsibilities:
- Build and own user-facing features end-to-end across the full stack
- Develop new product capabilities, including AI-powered features
- Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Work closely with users to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to ship high-quality features
- Contribute to product direction and technical decision-making
- Help scale systems and processes in a high-growth environment
About You:
- You’re a hands-on builder who enjoys creating products from scratch
- You thrive in fast-paced, startup or scale-up environments
- You’re pragmatic, collaborative, and user-focused
- You enjoy solving real-world problems and delivering value quickly
Additional Information:
- London-based role with primarily in-office working
