    Our client is a global innovation-led organisation looking for a Lead .NET Developer to join their cutting-edge team on a 12 month contract.

    Skills and Requirements:

    • 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
    • Deep expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET WebAPI, and Dependency Injection.
    • Strong hands-on background in cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
    • Experience with unit/integration testing (xUnit, NUnit) and performance profiling tools.
    • Working knowledge of modern frontend ecosystems (React is required; understanding of Angular is highly beneficial).
    • A strong “Consultant Mindset” – the ability to propose innovations and translate complex tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Excellent English communication skills and strong leadership capabilities.
    • Familiarity with specific Azure services (AppService, Functions, ServiceBus), microservices, NoSQL, Redis, MediatR, and application security protocols (OWASP, SQLi, XSS) is a plus.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and foster a productive environment for a Scrum team of 6 developers and testers.
    • Act as the central technical SPOC for client representatives, driving architectural decisions and managing feedback.
    • Write high-quality, production-ready backend code using C#, .NET 8, and Entity Framework Core.
    • Conduct rigorous code reviews, enforce design patterns, and promote CI/CD best practices.
    • Oversee the E2E development lifecycle, including performance monitoring (Azure App Insights) and production troubleshooting.
    • Navigate a complex micro front-end architecture, ensuring seamless integration between backend APIs (REST/SignalR) and frontend modules.
