    Our client is a global consulting firm looking for an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer to drive a high-stakes initiative on a 12 month B2B contract.

    Skills and Requirements:

    • Hands-on expertise across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with Alicloud and IBM Cloud experience considered a strong plus.
    • Solid domain knowledge in cloud architecture, networking (IPv4/IPv6, DNS), storage, virtualization, IAM, and security (Firewalls, Load Balancers, LDAP).
    • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using Terraform and Ansible.
    • Experience implementing GitOps workflows using tools like GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD, as well as automated dependency management (Renovate).
    • Proven ability in containerization and orchestration utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
    • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, OpenSearch, and InfluxDB.
    • Scripting and programming fluency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
    • Experience with enterprise Linux/Windows operating systems (SLES, RedHat, Windows) and databases (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB).
    • Understanding of multi-cloud abstraction layers, cloud governance, and compliance frameworks.
    • Willingness to complete a HackerRank technical challenge if required.
    • Excellent English communication skills for daily international collaboration within cross-functional, agile teams.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain automated blueprints and workflows for multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning across AWS, Azure, GCP, and other hyperscalers.
    • Implement and manage GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous, reliable platform delivery.
    • Build seamless integrations for core cloud-native services (compute, network, storage, IAM, security) into a centralized platform API.
    • Develop, maintain, and standardize Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests for cloud-native workloads.
    • Establish robust observability, logging, and monitoring solutions across multi-cloud environments.
    • Participate in architectural reviews to guarantee that all deployed infrastructure is secure, scalable, and compliant with enterprise policies.
    • Contribute to shared codebases using modular, reusable design patterns to enable self-service automation for internal teams.
