    Our client is a mission-critical initiative looking for a Senior Backend Architect to build a production-grade, AI-native platform designed to redefine professional services delivery.

    Skills and Requirements:

    • Proven ability to design and architect highly concurrent backend systems and distributed task queues.
    • Deep Python 3 fundamentals (async/await, type annotations, Pydantic) and extensive experience building production REST services with FastAPI.
    • Hands-on experience with Celery (designing, operating, and scaling background workers) using RabbitMQ or Redis.
    • Deep understanding of agentic AI pipelines, including the use of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
    • Extensive experience with Databricks (Jobs, Delta Lake) and large-scale data processing.
    • Strong DevOps/Cloud mindset with hands-on experience in Azure, Docker, and containerized deployment.
    • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and robust SQL skills.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-moving environments.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience with system observability tools (Datadog) and Kubernetes proficiency are pluses.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Design and architect highly concurrent backend systems and distributed task queues to ensure platform scalability.
    • Build, maintain, and scale production-grade REST services using Python, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
    • Manage complex asynchronous workflows and worker scaling strategies leveraging Celery.
    • Integrate AI-native features, including agentic pipelines and MCP servers, into the core architecture.
    • Collaborate with data teams to process large-scale data using Databricks and Delta Lake.
    • Deploy, optimize, and monitor services on Azure, ensuring maximum utilization of containerized environments.
    • Collaborate with executive stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into high-performance architecture.
